Screening Procedures

Spectra follows the very stringent screening procedures listed below:

  • Initial phone interview
     

  • Candidate submits resume
     

  • In-person interview
     

  • Application submitted with all experience and skills detailed
     

  • Series of questions based on experience are asked by Spectra recruiters
     

  • Personality characteristics, appearance and experience are noted on the candidate's application
     

  • Policies and procedures forms are reviewed with the candidate on site
     

  • Word processing and data entry testing are available - testing is customized to the job
     

  • Federal W-4 and I-9 forms are submitted with two forms of valid identification as required by law
     

  • Candidate information immediately entered into "Staff Info" database
     

  • When a job order comes in with specific criteria that matches a candidate, the candidate is contacted and given the information and asked if they would like to interview
     

  • Telephone reference check
     

  • Candidate is prepped prior to interview and debriefed after interview
     

  • Drug testing and credit checks are performed on request at no charge
     

  • Employee orientation prior to beginning new assignment
